Our take on Farstorm
The store page foregrounds Kazuko's time-travel mission and the conflict with her father, but gives little mechanical detail beyond simple controls and several enemy examples. The central premise is clear; the depth and variety of the action systems are less defined.
What is Farstorm?
Farstorm is a 3D action RPG about Kazuko, an elven princess whose father rules the elven land as a tyrant.
Kazuko casts a spell that sends her 40 years into the past, to the time when her father takes the throne. She then attempts to stop him from gaining power and change the future of her people, even if doing so costs her life. Players control Kazuko in battles against goblins, spiders, slimes, and other creatures. The game combines a time-travel story about the elven kingdom with direct action-RPG combat. The store description emphasizes simple controls, Kazuko's mission against her father, and the consequences of his rule over the elves.
