Our take on AETERNITAS
Its school-story structure ties progression to academic ranks and a defined cast, trading the open-ended scope of a broad fantasy campaign for a more character-focused arc.
What is AETERNITAS?
AETERNITAS is a visual novel and RPG set in a 19th-century parallel world where people control four elements.
The story follows Elwin, an ordinary boy whose choices shape his character as he interacts with the Academy and its people. Combat combines Water, Earth, Fire, and Air with 24 Battle Arts, more than 20 status effects, and a morale system that can persuade enemies to surrender or force the player to admit defeat if leadership fails. Seven allies can join battles, each with individual abilities.
Academic progression opens study paths and mastery perks. School attendance and practice duels award gold and knowledge tokens, which can be spent on food, wands, and staves. A global time system governs movement between classes, the Academy, and the outside world.
