Our take on Farplane Relic
Players may bounce when several systems begin competing for attention: skill branches, soul pairings, rune slots, and usable dungeon objects all affect combat choices. Those seeking direct attacks with little build management may hit the wall at this decision-heavy layer.
What is Farplane Relic?
Farplane Relic is an action-adventure RPG about Momo, whose world is invaded by monsters from another realm before she is drawn through a Relic Door.
Weapons have common and special abilities that shape combat. Active skills and buffs support different approaches, while some skills can develop along branching upgrade paths. A soul system combines triggers with actions to create hundreds of possible combinations. Dungeon environments contain usable weapons, including torches that can be thrown at monsters. Relics contain seeds that can be planted at camp and used as supplies after they mature. Runes unlock limited slots for selected equipment. The game also includes multiple monster types and randomly generated dungeons.
