Our take on Fargone
Many survival games center on environmental hazards and crafting; Fargone also makes roaming factions part of the world structure, with reactions shaped by conduct and alliances. Its launch focus is single-player, while co-op is planned for a later stage.
What is Fargone?
Fargone is a survival RPG set in the Barrens, a wasteland shaped by a nuclear disaster.
Search settlements, industrial sites, and bunkers for supplies, then craft equipment and develop skills through use. Construct a modular refuge, connect structures to a power grid, and manage generators and fuel. Survival also involves treating injuries and illness, while toxic storms, infected dead, mutants, and boss creatures threaten exploration. Roaming factions have camps, vendors, and missions; their reactions depend on conduct and alliances, and sufficient standing or a bribe can make companions available. The game launches as a single-player experience. Co-op is planned after launch, with a stated target of 1–4 players.
How Fargone plays

- 03Condition management
- Broken bones, infections, and other untreated ailments can worsen over time.
- 04Skills through use
- Abilities develop through use and open additional options for different survivor approaches.
