Our take on Fake Colours
The defining mechanic is colour-limited rolling: blocks must reach matching tiles, while later stages add cubes that change a block’s colour.
What is Fake Colours?
Fake Colours is a 3D cube-rolling puzzle game based on the RGB colour scheme.
Each puzzle requires three coloured blocks to reach their matching target squares. Blocks can roll over one another, but cannot move onto tiles with a different colour. The first 10 levels introduce the rules, while the remaining 20 become progressively harder and may take hours or days to complete. Later puzzles add small coloured cubes that change a larger block’s colour when it passes through them. Ambient music and vibrant graphics accompany the puzzle-focused gameplay.
How Fake Colours plays
- 01Colour-restricted movement
- Blocks can pass over one another but cannot roll onto tiles that do not match their respective colours.
- 02Thirty-level campaign
- The opening 10 levels introduce the mechanics before 20 increasingly difficult puzzles.
- 03Colour-changing cubes
- Later levels include small cubes that alter a larger cube’s colour when it moves through them.
