Our take on Existensis
Rather than centering combat, progression, or timed challenges, this adventure replaces those conventions with a quiet artistic pilgrimage. Exploration, visual atmosphere, branching routes, and reflection on life and death form its main structure.
What is Existensis?
Play as an artist known as the Mayor, traveling across Eré to find inspiration for a tower representing the journey of life.
The pilgrimage leads through colorful cities, forest settlements, libraries, ash deserts, and other locations connected by branching routes. More than fifteen hand-drawn areas contain stories, characters, history, and lore. The game has no enemies, health bar, fall damage, or time limits, creating a peaceful exploration structure. Choices along the journey lead to multiple endings. Its visuals and animations were created on paper, and the full experience contains 3–4 hours of content.
