Our take on Executive Assault 2
Rather than keeping strategy at an overhead distance, the game lets the commander enter the battlefield directly. Base construction, fleet control, and economy management share space with piloting fighters, boarding ships, fighting on foot, and infiltrating enemy installations.
What is Executive Assault 2?
Executive Assault 2 combines real-time strategy with first-person combat in a space setting.
Players build asteroid bases or deploy outposts, claim sectors, mine resources, trade goods, manage power, research technologies, and upgrade defenses. Fleets, robots, mechs, tanks, and starships can be manufactured and commanded in battles involving rival corporations and other enemies. Dungeon Defenders: Awakened combines action RPG and tower defense with loot, leveling, pets, and character customization, rather than Executive Assault 2's corporate space strategy and first-person control of tanks, fighters, and starships.
