Our take on Escape from Pleasure Planet
The game focuses on a compact, story-led adventure rather than combat systems or broad exploration. That choice gives the investigation and character-driven narrative room to lead, but leaves little scope for players seeking action, customization, or a large open world.
What is Escape from Pleasure Planet?
Play as Captain Tycho Minogue in a science-fiction point-and-click adventure set on Arcadia, a galaxy-famous tourist resort known as Pleasure Planet.
Tycho pursues Brutus, a dangerous criminal who may be hiding there or preparing another scheme. The story examines the resort’s promise of fulfilled wishes, its concealed dangers, and the fate of the planet’s original builders. The game combines investigation, romance, adventure, and gay-themed science fiction, with colorful visuals and character artwork by Joe Phillips. It follows My Ex-Boyfriend the Space Tyrant, but that earlier game is not required to play this one.
