What is EMPYRE: Dukes of the Far Frontier?
Set in a Neo-Victorian Wild West, this isometric alternate-history RPG adventure takes place in Bliss, a city built by steam-powered automatons in Monument Valley.
The surrounding country faces flooded coasts, hostile plant-like creatures, and near-total environmental collapse, while the desert remains free from these threats. The journey begins on a train carrying the player character toward Bliss with a first-class ticket and the promise of an easy life. Inside the city, hidden secrets challenge that promise. Character creation includes selected skills and perks, and customizable professions provide additional ways to shape the character.
Expanded character options offer more ways to address challenges. Combat includes robot battles, new special weapons, and a revised system for controlling encounters. Party members can share equipment through a group inventory.
