Choices can lead to artificial intelligence controlling governments, war against the United States, romance with a human or advanced robot, marriage, and family life. The protagonist can be male or female and gay or straight, with nine characters to romance and four alternate climax chapters. The game contains 300,000 words and over seventy achievements. There are no graphics or sound effects; the narrative is presented entirely through text.
