Our take on Empire of the Gods
Its defining structure is a resource-conversion puzzle: each card changes power, wealth, faith, or life, while every stage limits the number of rounds available to reach its targets and play the master card.
What is Empire of the Gods?
Play a card game set in ancient Egypt, starting with a small tribe and progressing toward an empire with cities and monuments.
Each stage gives a set of cards that converts four artificial resources—power, wealth, faith, and life—into one another. Raise the resources to required levels within a limited number of rounds, then use the master card to complete the stage. More than 30 stages introduce this system gradually, with later challenges requiring careful planning and bonus cards. The game includes 12 cities and monuments, character improvements, dozens of bonus and extra cards, and up to 15 achievements. Musical accompaniment plays as cities expand and monuments are built.
