Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a story-driven adventure may bounce off the repeated target-finding and return-to-start structure.
- Those who dislike changing routes and spatial planning may hit a wall when maze paths shift during play.
- Players looking specifically for online multiplayer will not find that mode listed among the available match options.
Our take on Labyrinth
The bounce point arrives when a player must alter the maze before reaching a revealed target, then still navigate back to the starting point. Anyone looking for fixed routes or a steadily unfolding story may lose interest once the repeated layout-and-retrace cycle becomes the central task.
What is Labyrinth?
Labyrinth is a digital board game about reaching secret locations in a maze whose walls can be moved with magic.
Players take the roles of a magician, witch, fortune teller, or sorcerer’s apprentice while searching for targets revealed by mystery cards, such as ghosts, keys, or owls. The winner is the first player to find all assigned secrets and return to the starting space. Random maze layouts change each game. The game includes six variations: the original Labyrinth, Junior Labyrinth, Master Labyrinth, Ocean Labyrinth, Labyrinth Germany, and Labyrinth Japan. It also includes three difficulty levels, a tutorial for beginners, solo play, and local matches for up to four people.
