What is ELYSION?
ELYSION is a 2D science-fiction side-scrolling shooter set on Arcadia after war and an uprising by autonomous drones.
Players pilot the Valkyrie as Sion Obsidias and fight to restore peace. The game combines anime-style characters, military themes, and a story with more than 15,000 dialogue characters. Shooting mechanics include bombs, support weapons, slow-motion movement, grazing, health recovery through items, and attacks whose damage changes with distance. Defeated enemies can drop items that increase score, rewarding close-range combat while avoiding attacks. Five characters are presented with different backgrounds and combat traits. Gamepad support is included, along with animated bomb-explosion scenes.
