Our take on Election Year Knockout
Players looking for political decision-making may hit the wall at the campaign premise: laws and political conflict are replaced by boxing matches. Those expecting a realistic sports game may also bounce off when parody opponents, cut scenes, and joke-driven presentation take over the progression.
What is Election Year Knockout?
Election Year Knockout turns a presidential campaign into a boxing progression.
Players create a political party, customize a fighter's gender, hairstyle, skin tone, hair color, and boxing attire, then face parody political opponents on the way to the White House. Each opponent uses different strengths, weaknesses, tactics, and special moves. The campaign includes fights against figures such as Jab Bush, Uncle Joe, Birdie Sanders, and Donald Thump. Optional missions extend the boxing challenges with conditions such as winning with one punch or landing repeated counters during a single round. Cut scenes and political jokes appear throughout the game. Supported controllers include Xbox One and PS4 controllers.
