After bandits destroy their farm, his mother leaves him at a secluded monastery for safety, but he sets out to escape. The journey takes him through a monastery, desert and frontier town, where he hides from enemies and uses toys to distract them or get past them. Shadow play is central to avoiding danger. Environmental puzzles add another obstacle, while existing mechanics are introduced in variations and combined as the environments grow more dangerous.
