Our take on DungeonRift
The presentation gives substantial space to future additions, including cooperative play and new content. The described current experience centers on dungeon runs, enemy progression, existing layouts, weapons, characters, and the separate Poland Ball mode.
What is DungeonRift?
DungeonRift is an arena-style dungeon crawler where enemies, rather than the player, gain levels and randomly selected perks.
Each run involves defeating every enemy on a level, collecting loot, and reaching the portal while monsters follow and become stronger. Defeated enemies trigger changes to the dungeon, including new layouts and hazards. The game includes more than 150 dungeon layouts, traps, weapons with different mechanics, player progression, two playable characters, collectibles, dark humor, hand-drawn art, and dynamic music. A separate Poland Ball mode places the character in endless dungeons on a journey toward space. Planned additions include new weapons, characters, monsters, perks, locations, local cooperative play, and an enemy evolution system.
