Our take on Dungeon Exiles

Instead of making moment-to-moment attacks the main input, Dungeon Exiles places combat execution in the hands of the hero and shifts play toward build choices, synergies, and adaptation. Its five-floor runs also lead into an escalating Endless Mode rather than ending permanently at the final boss.

What is Dungeon Exiles?

Dungeon Exiles is a dark-fantasy autobattler roguelike where players command a Warrior, Mage, or Rogue through procedurally generated dungeons.

Heroes automatically perform attacks and abilities while players make tactical choices, combine class passives, select abilities, and build item synergies. Each run spans five floors with distinct enemies, bosses, rooms, paths, shops, chests, and random events. Every class has over 40 passives, while legendary items and achievement unlocks expand character builds across runs. Nightmare Mode scales through Nightmare 6 after lower difficulties are completed. Defeating the final boss opens Endless Mode, which returns to the beginning with much stronger enemies. A collection log records discovered items and abilities.

Dungeon Exiles compared to similar games

Dungeon Exiles combines autobattler combat with procedurally generated five-floor dungeons, class passives, item synergies, and Endless Mode. Shogun Showdown instead uses direct turn-based positioning, upgradeable attack tiles, deck building, and a boss-focused progression structure.
