The bounce point arrives during character progression: players looking for a skill tree or extensive customization will find those systems are not implemented in the current version. The flexible attribute model supports mixed combat styles, but it does not yet provide the planned progression layers.
What is Dungeon Crowley?
Dungeon Crowley combines first-person shooting with role-playing across procedurally generated dungeons.
Players guide a teacher drawn into occult events after crossing the Abyss, then explore surreal environments populated by beasts. Combat involves swords, bows, staffs, and other weapon styles while enemies yield randomized loot with varied property combinations. Character development uses strength, intelligence, and dexterity points instead of a fixed class, allowing different combat approaches. The campaign supports solo play and multiplayer, with saves that can continue in a friend's game. Hand-crafted regions, distinct generation methods, scenery, weapons, and enemies are introduced across stages. A skill tree and additional customization are planned for the final release after early access.
