Prepare potions or poisons for fantastical patrons, using unusual ingredients, brewing equipment, utensils, and recipes from an enchanted book. Each recipe has a distinct combination of ingredients, while customer choices affect events beyond the tavern. The game includes more than 30 ingredients, 8 brewing tools, a cosmetic goods dealer, and patrons with individual histories and voice performances. An introductory story mode establishes the setting, and customers continue arriving at the tavern. A pet trashcan can also be fed various items, and the game includes an original musical score by Jesse Cale.
