Our take on Duck Paradox
Rather than relying on straightforward shooting, the game makes missed shots part of the hazard pattern: bullets rebound from walls. Platforming, puzzles, time control, and randomized upgrades sit alongside combat, while the level sequence is supplemented by endless Survival mode.
What is Duck Paradox?
Dr.
Paraducks searches a multiverse for her missing pet after a malfunctioning time machine scatters it across space-time. This roguelike precision platformer combines jumping across hazards with strategic shooting: missed ray-gun shots bounce off walls, so aiming matters. Players can slow time, solve puzzles, use shield bubbles, and set traps while facing corrupted duck enemies and bosses. Levels offer a choice between two randomized upgrades, with new builds forming over repeated runs. The game includes more than 50 increasingly difficult levels across three worlds, plus an endless Survival mode, a built-in timer, and a hidden Impossible Mode.
How Duck Paradox plays
- 01Ricocheting Shots
- Missed ray-gun bullets rebound from walls, adding a hazard to each shot.
- 02Time Slowdown
- Slowing time creates room to handle puzzles and barricades.
- 03Randomized Upgrades
- At each level's end, choose one of two upgrades to shape a run's build.
- 04Survival Mode
- An endless mode and built-in timer provide challenges beyond the level sequence.
- 05Three Worlds
- The more than 50 levels span Lab Dimension, Disco Dimension, and Duckwash Dimension.
