Our take on Drunk Alien
Instead of the exploration and varied movement often associated with adventure games, it limits control to two inputs and centers progress on upward jumps. Falling and repetition become the main structure rather than incidental setbacks.
What is Drunk Alien?
Guide an intoxicated alien back to his spaceship after he falls from it.
Movement uses only the W key and Spacebar, with no sideways or backward motion, making each jump a test of timing and patience. The game has two levels, set on Earth and in space. Falling is a recurring part of the ascent, while progress depends on learning how to control each leap. Humorous jump sounds and a repeating background tune accompany the climb. The challenge centers on restricted controls, repeated attempts, and reaching the spaceship despite frequent mistakes.
How Drunk Alien plays
- 01Restricted Controls
- The alien jumps with W and Spacebar while lateral and backward movement are unavailable.
- 02Two Level Settings
- The climb is divided between Earth and a space environment.
- 03Jump Sound Effects
- Humorous sounds play during the alien’s leaps.
