The clearest sticking point is the story’s ending: after Laura regains the Dream catcher, the Sandman threatens Tim, setting up a continuation rather than resolving that danger within this installment.
What is Dreamscapes: The Sandman - Premium Edition?
As a volunteer assisting Professor Sanders, the player enters Laura’s subconscious with the Dreams Machine to find her and discover why she has fallen into a coma.
The journey moves through 50 locations as the player clears nightmares, gathers clues from Laura’s diary pages, and searches for pieces of her Dream catcher. Hidden-object scenes and puzzles are part of the search, alongside 16 mini-games. The story follows Laura’s changing dream world as she becomes stronger and learns about the Sandman and the Dream Guardians. Two modes are available: normal and advanced. The Premium Edition also includes achievements and more than 50 3D movies and cutscenes. The story ends with the Sandman threatening Laura’s friend Tim.
