Our take on Dragon Ruins
Rather than making every battle a sequence of manual commands, the game automates combat and places the main tactical choice on whether to proceed or retreat. Its compact party-and-dungeon structure also replaces the broader exploration commonly associated with dungeon crawlers.
What is Dragon Ruins?
Dragon Ruins is a compact dungeon crawler set in ancient ruins near Faselei, the capital of Isigwere.
Build a group of four adventurers from eight classes and guide them toward an ancient dragon’s lair. Battles run automatically, while decisions focus on whether to engage enemies or retreat. Party growth comes from gaining levels and improving equipment. Medicine can restore fallen members, and teleporter scrolls provide travel between the dungeon and town. New Game Plus increases monster group sizes and strengthens the final boss. The game is an expanded version of a Dungeon Crawler Jam 2024 entry, with bug fixes, added features, and quality-of-life changes.
