Our take on Downhill Pro Racer
Airborne bike handling is the defining detail: whips, scrubs, and leans are controlled during jumps rather than played as preset animations.
What is Downhill Pro Racer?
Downhill Pro Racer is a single-player downhill mountain-biking simulator built around timed runs on natural mountain tracks.
Riders control braking, jumping, rider weight, manuals, and airborne bike movements while navigating roots, rocks, wallrides, and gap jumps. The game includes a 5 square kilometer mountain environment with several tracks, three modes—Freeride, practice, and timed racing—and three track types: Flow, Jump, and World Cup. During practice, a point-to-point editor lets riders set a line for the bike to follow while they manage speed, obstacles, and balance. Tutorial, replay, and first-person modes are also included. Planned additions include mountains, equipment customization, weather effects, and multiplayer racing.
