Our take on Double
The story’s central tension is Carlos deciding each day whether to continue treatment or surrender to illusions.
What is Double?
Double is an action-quest game about Carlos, who lives in a mental asylum and is trying to overcome post-war syndrome.
Each day, he must decide whether to continue treatment or give in to illusions. The story is nonlinear, with choices set in difficult, ambiguous situations. Dreams and reality become increasingly intertwined as the game progresses, with dreams intruding further into Carlos’s waking life. The experience centers on following this mystical story and discovering its ending through the choices made along the way. An original soundtrack accompanies the game.
