Our take on Doomspire
Rather than following a fixed adventure route, Doomspire makes the tower itself change between runs. Its progression also turns health, minions, and resources into possible costs for greater power, replacing straightforward accumulation with deliberate risk management.
What is Doomspire?
Doomspire is a roguelike deckbuilding adventure set inside an ancient tower that descends into darkness.
Each run generates different routes, enemies, dangers, and treasures. Players create a hero, collect cards and passive powers, and shape a deck around combinations of abilities and effects. Progress requires adapting strategies as the descent continues and balancing available resources. Sacrifice mechanics allow health, minions, and resources to be exchanged for greater power, adding risk to strategic decisions. Boss encounters feature individual abilities and tactics, with rewards for victories. The game focuses on repeated runs, varied builds, and exploring different approaches to card synergies while pushing farther into the Doomspire.
