Saves you a refund- Players seeking a broad open-world RPG may find the Dome’s confined setting restrictive.
- Those wanting ongoing development or a large amount of future content may not suit a project no longer in active development.
- Players looking for a party-focused RPG may not find the small group of nine residents broad enough.
Our take on Dome Discover
Rather than centering on a broad fantasy journey, the game confines its RPG premise to a Dome inhabited by nine people. Its progression also connects crafting and access to new locations with a recurring challenge against the Dome’s ruler.
What is Dome Discover?
Dome Discover is an adventure RPG with anime-inspired visuals.
The story follows 16-year-old Aeon, who lives with family and friends inside a Dome where humans are enslaved and no one is permitted to leave. Escape may be possible once every 100 years, when the Dome’s nine residents must confront its ruler, DUX Ananke. Progression centers on crafting: players create weapons, open access to additional locations, and advance the story toward the final confrontation. The game is set around the small population living inside the Dome and frames exploration around uncovering the truth behind their confinement. The project is no longer in active development, although the vendor mentions possible future plans.
