Our take on Dollhouse
The defining mechanic is the Focus ability, which lets Marie view the environment through the pursuer’s eyes. That perspective shift turns the chase into an information contest, linking the game’s horror atmosphere to a specific way of tracking the threat.
What is Dollhouse?
Dollhouse is a film noir horror game following Marie, a detective exploring her memories to uncover the secrets of her past.
In single-player, players evade a pursuer while interpreting the story. The Focus ability reveals the world from the hunter’s perspective, adding another way to track the threat. Maps are procedurally generated, so their layouts differ between runs across the available game modes. Character development includes more than forty abilities and passive upgrades. Competitive multiplayer gives each participant a separate target to hunt. This mode includes fourteen playable characters, each with an individual story. The game combines investigation, evasion, environmental scanning, character progression, and online player-versus-player pursuit.
