Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a long platforming campaign may reach the end quickly because the game contains 11 levels plus opening and ending scenes.
- Players who need progress saves may hit a wall at the lack of a save system.
- Players looking for conventional jumping mechanics may not enjoy movement based on water pillars.
Our take on Dive
Players may bounce off at the first interrupted session: there is no save system, so progress cannot be stored between play sessions. The 11-level structure also creates a clear stopping point for anyone expecting a longer platforming campaign.
What is Dive?
Dive is a 2D pixel-art platformer set underwater.
After a submarine crashes into a cavern, the sole survivor must find a way back home, guided by two mysterious orbs. Jumping is not part of the movement system; instead, players raise and lower pillars of water to reach higher areas and solve puzzles. The game includes 11 levels, plus an opening and ending scene. Its story follows the survivor's ascent through the cavern using the ability to control water pillars. Dive is relatively short and has no save system.
