Our take on Dinocide
The defining structure is a shared food-and-life meter: the same bar governs both survival needs and character health while the protagonist travels with dinosaur companions.
What is Dinocide?
Dinocide is a single-player platformer set in a prehistoric fantasy world.
The protagonist travels across dangerous lands to rescue a kidnapped love interest from a mysterious Dinosaur God. Tame dinosaurs accompany the journey as mounts and combat partners, providing abilities such as higher jumps, faster movement, swimming, and flight. Progression follows different routes, allowing multiple paths through biomes including deserts, jungles, forests, lava caves, oceans, and icy plains. A shared food and life meter governs the character’s survival. The game includes a Story Campaign, Speedrun, and Boss Rush mode, along with controller and Steam Big Picture support. Its play focuses on jumping, eating, riding, and fighting through encounters with unusual prehistoric creatures.
