Our take on Digitanks!
Rather than keeping artillery combat focused on aiming and firing across a flat battlefield, the game adds three-dimensional terrain, resource control, base construction, supply lines, and fleet production. The result replaces a narrow shooting structure with turn-based strategic expansion.
What is Digitanks!?
Digitanks combines projectile firing with strategic decisions in a three-dimensional setting.
Its campaign has digital tank forces fighting the Bugs, while skirmishes provide two formats: an arcade-focused Artillery mode and a construction-oriented Strategy mode. Commanders establish and protect bases, extend territory for resources, safeguard supply routes, and seize Electronodes to gain power. Increased production supports the creation of larger tank forces. Four unit types bring distinct advantages and disadvantages, requiring choices about artillery investment, expansion, logistics, manufacturing, and the timing of an offensive. The game links aiming and battlefield positioning with resource administration and territorial planning across its campaign and skirmish play.
