Our take on Dig Dog
The bounce point arrives in Bone Hunt, where deaths end a run and the four worlds become progressively harder. Digging can also create hazards, so players who want predictable stages may shift to Free Dig, which has minor challenge and no game overs.
What is Dig Dog?
Dig Dog is an action roguelike platformer centered on digging, movement, combat, and treasure hunting.
Each play session creates new levels containing enemies, hazards, shops, items, bones, and changing challenges. Bone Hunt covers four worlds with increasing difficulty, while Free Dig offers endlessly generated stages with minor challenge, no game overs, and saved progress. A three-button control scheme supports running, digging, dropping, jumping, and dashing with a controller or keyboard. Players can tunnel through destructible environments, collect bones to open color themes, spend coins on shop items, pursue high scores, or attempt to clear all four worlds without dying.
