Our take on Die Again
The store pitch gives equal weight to a large scenario count and a story, but the defining experience is rapid combat built around dying, possessing enemies, and choosing targets carefully. The narrative premise is present, while the practical emphasis remains on tactical encounters.
What is Die Again?
Die Again is a top-down action shooter built around using death as a combat tactic.
When the character dies near an enemy, they can take over that enemy’s body and continue fighting. Levels can be approached by direct shooting, turning enemies against one another, or using possession to pass obstacles. The game includes more than 100 scenarios, fast exchanges where one shot can decide the outcome, and a range of weapons. Its story follows a journey through a war-torn world altered by the Blue Blood toward the Zero Zone, while character development is affected by player decisions.
How Die Again plays
