Our take on Diabotical Rogue
The game departs from the fixed-loadout structure common to many shooters by combining suit-based combat with roguelite upgrade choices. It also replaces a purely player-facing arena structure with an editor for creating maps that can be used in custom lobbies.
What is Diabotical Rogue?
Diabotical Rogue is an online PvP first-person shooter combining fast movement, team combat, and roguelite upgrades.
Players select one of four suits: Chunk, Eggbot, Scout, or Tiny. Each suit has distinct weapons, abilities, and a separate progression tree. Early Access includes 4v4 Wipeout, in which respawn timers grow after deaths and teams win by eliminating the opposition, plus 16v16 Warmup, a large team shootout for trying characters and weapons. An in-game map editor allows players to create maps and play them with friends in custom lobbies. Suit examples include rocket launchers, teleportation, hookshots, healing grenades, and grenade launchers.
