Our take on Devader
Rather than relying only on rapid shooting, the game places strategic weapons, branching upgrades, and core defense alongside twin-stick combat. Its wave structure also supports 17 endings, giving an arcade format a broader set of outcomes than a single-score run.
What is Devader?
Devader is an arcade-style twin-stick shooter about defending the last remnants of an ancient civilization from waves of invading Krin aliens.
Combat combines direct shooting with strategic equipment such as nukes, shields, and turrets. More than 100 waves include changing enemy groups and large bosses using attacks such as lasers, lightning, tentacles, and projectile patterns. Players can choose upgrade routes that support different play styles, discover secrets, and reach 17 endings. The game includes four difficulty levels, an adaptive environment, an online leaderboard, and local co-op for up to four gamepads alongside one keyboard-and-mouse setup. New co-op players can join during an active session.

Devader compared to similar games
Devader combines twin-stick shooting, wave defense, strategic weapons, and local co-op, while Dungeon Defenders: Awakened combines cooperative action RPG play with tower defense, loot, leveling, pets, and character customization. Anomaly: Warzone Earth also mixes action and strategy against an alien invasion, but uses a reversed tower-defense structure rather than Devader's twin-stick wave combat and upgrade paths.
