Our take on Deus Ex: The Fall
The game gives up keyboard remapping in exchange for a PC control scheme that supports mouse and keyboard play. Its removal of in-game purchases is paired with a rebalanced economy, so the port changes both control customization and progression-related purchasing.
What is Deus Ex: The Fall?
In 2027, Ben Saxon, a physically augmented former British SAS mercenary, pursues the truth about a drug conspiracy run by powerful corporations.
This prequel to Deus Ex: Human Revolution follows the search through Moscow’s criminal hideouts and Panama’s impoverished districts. Players can approach encounters with combat, stealth, hacking, or social skills; side quests and explorable areas offer additional ways to engage with the story. The Steam edition supports mouse and keyboard controls, Microsoft controllers, 28 achievements, Trading Cards, and Badges. It also includes changes to enemy AI, tutorials, aiming, and cover options. Keyboard bindings are fixed. In-game purchase options have been removed, and the game economy has been rebalanced.
