Our take on Desolate City: Last Show
Scarcity defines the experience: ammunition, healing items, and save opportunities are limited, forcing choices between close combat, shooting, dodging, and cautious progress through Gray Bay.
What is Desolate City: Last Show?
Desolate City: Last Show is a survival horror action RPG set during Don Aitor’s final concert in Gray Bay.
When a strange virus triggers chaos, he must investigate the outbreak and survive hostile maniacs. Combat combines close-range weapons with firearms, while limited ammunition, healing items, and saves require cautious decisions. Survivors can be found, spoken with, and rescued. Exploration follows an old-school structure: solve puzzles, locate keys to open new areas, and read documents for story details. The game uses hand-drawn pixel art, illustrated story scenes, an original soundtrack featuring songs performed by Don Aitor, and an integrated achievement system. It serves as a prequel to Desolate City: The Bloody Dawn.
