Our take on Decromancer
Instead of centering the RPG around conventional character abilities or party combat, Decromancer makes card placement the main battle structure. Its campaign progression also ties victories to card promotion, combining exploration and role-playing with deck-and-grid tactics.
What is Decromancer?
Decromancer combines role-playing adventure with tactical card battles in a story-led single-player campaign.
Players assemble an army from more than 150 hand-painted cards, each offering different attack patterns and special abilities. Battles take place on a grid, where cards are positioned to deal sufficient damage to opponents’ empty slots. The campaign includes exploration across a large illustrated open world and the use of spells during combat. New cards become available as progression continues, allowing the army to expand. Victories also let cards advance to Elite form, which adds stat increases and new abilities.
