Our take on Decorporation
The office is both the setting and an arsenal: keyboards, mice, and chairs can be used in combat alongside guns.
What is Decorporation?
Decorporation is a fast-paced first-person shooter set in a surreal office maze.
The Corporation’s airborne substance turns employees into workaholics, while an unidentified outsider offers help. Levels are generated procedurally, and permadeath makes each run a fresh attempt through the labyrinth. Combat can use guns or office objects such as keyboards, mice, and chairs. A style-scoring system rewards skillful play, while pills are part of the protagonist’s routine. Elevators take the character between floors, but remembered layouts are unreliable, so navigation can be disorienting. The goal is to reach the final floor and confront the employer, who waits there watching television.
How Decorporation plays

- Randomly generated layouts make floor navigation different between runs.
- 02Office Object Combat
- Alongside guns, the character can fight with keyboards, mice, and chairs.
- 03Style Scoring
- Combat performance is assessed through a skill-based scoring system.
- 04Permadeath Runs
- A character’s death ends the run.
