Our take on Debris
The defining detail is its cooperative mystery structure: a second player is not just present, but can affect how the shared attempt to reach the surface unfolds.
What is Debris?
Debris is a first-person narrative adventure set beneath an Arctic seascape enclosed by ice and rock.
After an accident involving meteoric debris with energy-producing properties, a small film crew member must reach the surface while injured, short on time, and confronted by hostile creatures. The journey combines exploration, combat, conversational character interactions, and investigation into the forces shaping the strange environment. Key decisions influence the story’s multiple endings. A cooperative mode lets two players investigate the mystery together, with the partner affecting the experience. The game presents its underwater setting as surreal and places the escape attempt within a psychological mystery.
