Deadly Heart Gambit presents an anime-styled, first-person visual novel centered on a life-or-death card match with Alice.
With only three months remaining, cards can extend the player’s lifespan, while a joker reduces it. Every drawn card is retained, and playing one allows a turn to be skipped. The game includes four narrative chapters, two possible conclusions, and a concealed secret. The main decision is whether to continue wagering for additional time despite the chance of losing everything. If the remaining time reaches zero, Alice takes the player’s heart. The story also presents the contest as an unending game between the player and Alice.
