Our take on Dead Grid
Rather than limiting combat to direct attacks, the game makes noise a tactical choice: quiet eliminations reduce attention, while guns and explosives rapidly draw more zombies. Its card-revealed 3D world and camp-building layer also sit alongside the turn-based battles instead of relying on combat alone.
What is Dead Grid?
Dead Grid is a turn-based strategy RPG set in a post-apocalyptic world dominated by zombies and styled with an 80s retro atmosphere.
Players command a squad of mercenaries across a 3D world revealed through cards, choosing between quiet attacks or noisy weapons and explosives that attract more enemies. The game includes 16 voiced mercenaries, 5 classes, 115 skills, passive perks, 17 character attributes, and unlimited skill respecs. Dead characters can be reanimated as Revenants. Survivors join the camp and assist on later missions, while 42 side missions provide additional objectives. Players can collect and upgrade weapons, consumables, gadgets, and more than 150 items that alter skills and play styles. Seven challenge modes, leaderboards, and New Game+ provide alternate replay structures.
