Our take on Daybreaker VR
The pitch foregrounds a zombie shooter, while its listed systems put substantial emphasis on searching containers, crafting, inventory capacity, clothing, and food and water management. Combat is presented alongside that broader item-management loop.
What is Daybreaker VR?
Daybreaker VR is a post-apocalyptic survival shooter built around scavenging and item handling.
Search drawers, cupboards and other containers for loot, or defeat enemies and search their bodies. Use found materials to craft useful items, weapons and utilities, and assemble guns from the parts collected. Combat can also involve a sharpened stick. Food and water need to be carried to support survival, while clothing reduces damage from enemies. Store equipment and other items in pockets or a backpack, and search for larger backpacks to increase carrying capacity. The game uses physics for interactions between the player and objects, making handling part of the scavenging and crafting loop.
How Daybreaker VR plays

- 02Survival supplies

- Objects respond to physical interactions, including when searching containers for loot.
