Our take on Dark Honor™
Dark Honor follows the action-adventure tradition of a lone warrior, hostile environments, and boss confrontations, while placing sword precision and environmental use at the center of each fight. Its revenge plot and Souls-like inspiration keep the structure familiar rather than radically departing from the genre.
What is Dark Honor™?
Players guide a solitary warrior through a grim fantasy realm after a Samurai clan destroys a settlement and abducts the warrior’s family.
The quest for vengeance crosses deserted villages, dim woodland, and other perilous locations filled with hidden information about the world’s sorrowful past. Fights rely on deliberate sword techniques, tactical choices, and turning nearby surroundings into an advantage. Persistent foes and major adversaries challenge the warrior throughout the story. Drawing on classic Souls-like games, Dark Honor combines an Unreal Engine presentation with a moody musical score.
