Our take on Dark Days
The defining rule is the creature’s gaze: looking directly at the hunter kills the protagonist, turning observation itself into a survival constraint during the investigation.
What is Dark Days?
Dark Days is a first-person point-and-click adventure built around a supernatural investigation.
The story moves from an unsettling motel to a haunted desert, where players solve puzzles while uncovering a disturbing truth. Puzzle arrangements vary between playthroughs, and 20 hidden tapes provide additional discoveries. The game presents an atmospheric escape-room structure with more than 2 hours of gameplay and two different endings. A central danger stalks the protagonist: looking directly at it results in death. The experience combines horror, investigation, cinematographic environments, and a story-focused progression. This PC remaster originated as a project for mobile virtual-reality headsets in 2016.
