Our take on CYBERSTELLAR
Storms define the play experience beyond their visual role: certain conditions can make the spacecraft lose control during alien attacks.
What is CYBERSTELLAR?
CYBERSTELLAR is a shoot-'em-up in which a spacecraft defends Earth and Mars from alien attacks.
The game has eight levels and uses a 3D-pixel visual style described as 2D-rendered voxel graphics. Players can use four weapon upgrades, including two temporary upgrades. Storms form part of the challenge, with fog, sandstorms, blizzards, glass, ice, and meteors appearing as environmental details. Some storms can cause the spacecraft to lose control. The story takes place after humans establish a settlement on Mars and alien invasions begin during eclipses and storms between the planets. Music and sound effects accompany the action. Achievements and trading cards are identified as planned additions rather than current features.
