Our take on CYBERFIELD
The roguelike structure makes defeat part of progression, so advancement depends on revising builds and tactics across attempts rather than simply carrying one successful fighter forward.
What is CYBERFIELD?
CYBERFIELD is a sci-fi roguelike arena game about building a fighter from a limited skill selection.
Each run presents skills from which five can be chosen, alongside technological Enhancers that provide powers linked to fire, ice, lightning, energy, defense, and other effects. Combat unfolds across multiple rounds against varied opponents, including giants, drones, Special Warriors, and section Champions. Defeat ends a run but also supports a cycle of learning and tactical adjustment. Accumulated coins can be used to upgrade the fighter. The overall objective is to defeat the Champions of each Section and claim the Cyberfield Championship.
How CYBERFIELD plays
- 01Five-skill builds
- Each run limits the fighter to five selections from the available skills.
- 02Technological enhancers
- Special devices add powers associated with effects such as fire, ice, lightning, energy, and defense.
- 03Multi-round battles
- Runs include several combat stages with enemies ranging from giants and drones to Special Warriors and Champions.
- 04Coin-funded upgrades
- Coins collected during play can be spent on improving the fighter.
- 05Roguelike progression
- Defeat ends the current attempt while leaving room to revise tactics and try a different approach.
