Rather than treating racing as a standalone driving activity, the game combines cyber-cycle movement with disc-based hacking and combat. It also places racing, shooting, and target throwing together in a VR cyberspace setting.
What is CYBERDRIFTER?
CYBERDRIFTER places players in the role of military technology specialists entering a neon cyberspace in VR.
The main mission involves riding a cyber cycle through a virtualized world while using a data disc to hack systems and eliminate virtual enemies. Players also receive three Cyber Arcade mini-games: Cyber Drift, a cycle race around a neon stadium with leaderboard competition; Cyber Blast, an arcade-style shooter against virtual enemies; and Disc Drift, where plasma orbs must be hit before reaching the danger zone. The game supports seated or standing play, with either smooth locomotion or blink-and-dash teleportation. It is optimized for major VR controllers.
