Our take on Cubesis
The presentation emphasizes divine powers and climate changes, but the core structure is a sequence of objective-driven levels. The changing world may suggest a broad simulation, while the stated tasks frame it as focused puzzle strategy.
What is Cubesis?
Cubesis presents a strategy campaign where players act one move at a time while solving environmental challenges.
They lead the Cubies across mission-focused stages, adjusting weather, altering ground, and controlling water height and worldwide heat. Soil may be excavated or removed, and players can construct dams, waterways, and channels. Stage objectives range from traveling over open water and retrieving valuables to establishing an urban settlement within a lake. Two deities, Ikjuch and Likael, influence the setting’s natural systems, offering assistance or creating setbacks. Environmental decisions carry trade-offs: an action that helps in one circumstance can cause problems in another. A tutorial introduces the systems, followed by two difficulty-progressive campaigns containing up to thirty-four stages.
