Our take on Crushed
The broad survival toolkit comes with ongoing maintenance: food storage, basic needs, resource processing, and worn equipment all compete for attention. That makes the game less focused than a single-purpose building or exploration experience.
What is Crushed?
Crushed is a first-person survival sandbox for solo or multiplayer play in an open world.
Players explore the environment, gather resources, mine ore, process it in a furnace, and use materials to make items, weapons, and building parts. A house can be constructed and furnished according to personal preferences. Survival systems cover health, stamina, thirst, and hunger, while tools and weapons wear down through use. Players can hunt animals, grow crops, and prepare food. Food becomes inedible unless kept in a refrigerator. A changing day-and-night cycle includes atmospheric effects, adding time-based variation to exploration and survival.

- 04Farming And Hunting

- 05Ore Processing

- 06Survival Needs

- 07Perishable Food
- Prepared food stops being edible when it is not stored in a refrigerator.
Crushed compared to similar games
Mr. Prepper also combines survival and crafting, but centers on preparing an underground shelter while dealing with an authoritarian government and the threat of nuclear war. Crushed instead uses open-world exploration with farming, hunting, ore smelting, house construction, and solo or multiplayer play.
